A Week of Creativity in Wine Country

On Monday, LINES Ballet dancers and staff decamped to Sonoma State University for a week-long creative residency.

It’s a nice break from the city, not that there has been any time for wine tasting with all the activities: master classes with Ballet Master Arturo Fernandez and dancer Michael Montgomery, a dance history lecture with LINES Ballet faculty member Molly Rogers, a tech and dress rehearsal open to SSU students; and capping it all off, a showing of Alonzo King’s latest work which will have its world premiere during our spring home season in May.

Busy as he has been sweeping up feathers (feathers you ask!), our production manager found time to capture the dancers and Alonzo doing their thing.
