Dance at Mint Plaza

Alonzo King LINES Dance Center returns to Mint Plaza for its second year of HeART of Market: Dance, Create, Connect, a free, participatory and family friendly event, on Saturday, October 5 from 12-3 pm.

With over 100 participating artists of all ages, this year’s event welcomes LINES Ballet company members, youth performers, and artists from our community partnerships, as well as over 50 Dance Center adult students performing Bollywood and Theater-style jazz works. As always, our pre-professional dancers from our BFA and Training Program will showcase work from their upcoming performances. Each group will incorporate a participatory component into their performance so come ready to dance and show your neighborhood pride.
